It's Been Nearly Month---

It's been nearly a month since I've posted anything-- so thought I'd just do a mini update on things--

My last blog post was about my friend Kelly's son Ethan- he is still in the hospital and will be starting his second round of Chemo as soon as he is eating/drinking more- they've had a rough time this past month- but certainly are not giving up- hopefully things will start to improve more really soon.

The kids are doing ok in school- it's hard to believe it's been a month already since they went back!

The leaves are turning colors on the trees- I really enjoy this time of yea the most and the month of September we saw some of the nicest weather we've had all summer long! I have decorated inside and out for Halloween/Fall- although I didn't put up as much as I usually do- it's enough- keep thinking ahead to Christmas and wondering what to do for the holiday- it's not as much fun buying presents for the kids as it was when they were younger- plus they get so much all the time anyways- it doesn't leave much to get them.

I decided to take down my Create A Can website for now- I wasn't getting but an order here and there and it hardly seemed worth it anymore since I have to order in all the cans now instead of getting them locally like I was. In this economy, people just don't want to spend $10 to ship paint cans- and I can't blame them- I wouldn't either.

I've decided to enroll in an online degree program through SUNY (State University of NY)for ecommerce - I'm hoping to have everything in place to be enrolled and taking classes in January - I'm actually looking forward to it- not only will I learn more about website designing and running online businesses- but it will also give me something to do- I've been so bored lately!

Well, that about sums up what's going on around here -- hope everyone is well!
